'Barn Brain' Fair Isle Baby Barn Owl No.2

A striking and beautiful baby barn owl who is just growing his adult "feathers", this is the second of three knitted baby barn owl designs created entirely from scratch.  It has been part machine knitted and part hand knitted in the Scottish Fair Isle style as well as crocheted.  It incorporates mohair to give the effect of baby "feathers" as well as handmade wire feet and wooden beak plus bead eyes on its inquisitive face.  
 
All Audrey's birds are accompanied by a poem and this one is located on the handmade wooden plinth, which has a felt base to protect your surfaces, and it reads:
The perpendicular perspective is always more objective.
 
Approximately 25cm tall x 13cm wide x 15cm deep.  Plinth is approximately 16.5cm x 12cm x 1cm.
 
Not a toy.  Not suitable for young children.
