Lisa sometimes has pieces of Oak that are too small forchopping boards or have a flaw that would make them unsuitable for charcuterie boards, but she makes sure she doesn't waste them. She creates simple but effective pieces of art, like this one, by ebonising the wood and then carving out a simple design by hand. It has been oiled to protect it.
A small picture hook is screwed to the top at the back so that the art can easily be hung on the wall.
Size is approximately 22.5cm L x 13cm W x 2cm D.
