Fair Isle Knitted Budgerigar 'Daphne'

The budgerigar is knitted using a variation of Fair Isle Knitting created by the maker. You will see the pattern repeated throughout the chest back and wings. Included is a crochet daffodil that fits into the beak - PLEASE NOTE THAT CROCHET DAFFODIL IS NO LONGER INCLUDED.
 
The feet are adjustable so it can be displayed almost anywhere around the home.
 
Poem reads:
In dayglow yellow haute couture,
On rainy afternoons, for sure,
Daphne always will,
Dance Foxtrot with her daffodil.
 
Approximately 23cm (including tail) x 5cm in size.
