"Heath and Hilltop" Tweed and Velvet Handbag

A completely unique, one off handbag.  Combining some of my favourite tweeds and velvets and giving us heather covered moors and hills vibes.  Because the process of Tweed weaving is such a labour of love and it’s so beautiful, we never want to waste even the tiniest of scraps (actually I don’t like to waste any fabric).  So to create a beautiful handbag from tiny, precious pieces of tweed and velvet was a challenge, but worth it!  Most of the tweed we use is Harris tweed, but also we’ve included some of our favourite bits from other suppliers too, including Islay woollen mill and Marton Mills in Yorkshire.  On the larger pieces of Harris tweed, we’ve sewn an authentic Harris label.  The leather strap is shorter than our previous handbags, making this a neat little under arm bag.  This bag is lined with a strong cotton deer print and there is both a slip and a zip pocket.
