Painted and Quilled Black Wooden Trinket Box

This hinged lightweight wooden box would be ideal as either a trinket box or a jewellery box.  It has been hand painted, both inside and outside, and features an intricate quilled rose design on the top.  The art of quilling involves strips of coloured card being individually cut and manipulated into the artist's chosen design.  
 
Please Note: Any items that feature quilling should not be placed in direct sunlight as the card will fade, or in a humid environment as the card will soften.
 
The outside has been painted black and the inside has been painted red with a little heart decoration on the lid.   
 
It has a brass coloured metal clasp and hinges.
 
Total size is approximately 11cm W x 10cm D x 6.5cm H.  The inside measures approximately 9.5cm W x 8cm D x 4.5cm H.
