Painted and Quilled Ceramic Jar with Lid

This beautiful hand painted and quilled ceramic pot could be used to store all kinds of things.  It has been hand painted a pearlescent white and features hand painted plants and grasses on all sides.  This has then been embellished with quilled flower heads in different styles and colours and a quilled flower adorns the lid.  The entire jar has been varnished to protect it.  
 
The art of quilling involves strips of coloured card being individually cut and manipulated into the artist's chosen design.  Please Note: Any items that feature quilling should not be placed in direct sunlight as the card will fade, or in a humid environment as the card will soften.
 
Total size (including lid) is approximately 9cm W x 9cm D x 12cm H.  The inside measures approximately 8cm W x 8cm D x 12cm H.
