Fair Isle Knitted Pair of Budgies 'The Lovers' in wooden heart

The Budgies are knitted using a variation of Fair Isle Knitting created by the maker.  You will see the pattern repeated throughout the chest back and wings.  He has wire feet, a handmade clay beak and beautiful bead eyes.  They have real feather tails and are holding a hand crochet viola in their beaks.
 
The heart is made from intertwined grey twigs and birds are secured by their feet.  The heart has strong string attached so that it can be hung on the wall.
 
Poem reads:
The blue and yellow lovers,
Admire each other's colours,
But they share a single dream:
That all their offspring will be green.
 
Approximately 36cm x 36cm x 6cm in size at widest parts of heart.  Budgies themselves are approximately 17cm from head to tip of tail.
