'Nestled' Wall Hanging Wren

This is an adorable, skillful and unique ornament.  A little handmade knitted wren in a nest made from wool and felt on a branch.....is a very simplistic description of a beautiful ornament full of detail and embellishment.  
 
The wren is knitted using a variation of Fair Isle knitting created by Audrey and has bead eyes and a wooden beak.  The nest is cleverly created from wool and felt but is made to look like a natural nest that the bird itself might have made.  The twig is covered in knitted 'moss' and again made to look like the organic material that would normally be found on a branch.  There is some hand made fabric and wire ivy that, not only enhances the design but also, helps to hide the wire loop used to hang this ornament neatly on the wall (the ivy can be removed if preferred).
 
Total size of ornament is approximately 26cm W x 20cm H x 13cm D.
