'The Sitter' Fair Isle Knitted Wren and Nest

An adorable little handmade wren's nest with the occupant just popping her head out.  Both the wren and the nest is knitted using a variation of Fair Isle knitting created by the maker.  The wren has bead eyes and a wooden toothpick beak.
 
The nest has a plaited string loop attached to the top so that it will hang neatly against the wall.  The nest itself is very lightweight but the wooden back gives it some weight to hang straight.  The wood is covered in green felt to protect your wall and look neater.
 
Total size is approximately 8.5cm diameter x 8cm D (back to tip of beak).
